Overall sales volume fell 19% from the same period last year with $112,963,281 in sales. 142 homes conveyed to new owners, unit counts were down (26%) as compared with 193 homes sold in 2013. Median prices have climbed 14% to $612,500 (from $535,000) and the average sold prices have increased by 11% to $648,316. Given the amazing Tahoe Donner amenities, this median and average pricing still delivers an exceptional product in the Truckee – Tahoe market. In the luxury market, eight (8) units sold over $1,000,000 in Tahoe Donner as compared to 11 units in 2013 (-27%).
The condominium market was up 36% in volume with $9,162,820 in sales with 35 units sold (+35%). The median condo sales price increased 15% to $275,500 as compared to the same period last year. The average price increase was +1%. Unit count for the condo market was up by 42% with 34 sold units; one unit over $500,000 has sold year to date.
