CONGRATULATIONS to Elena Messner for taking GOLD in Sugar Bowl’s esteemed Silver Belt freeride competition! Attracting top athletes from around the world, Elena is now ranked 13th in the Americas! What an amazing accomplishment for this University of Utah student athlete and Truckee “local” and graduate of Sugar Bowl Academy!

Join our friends at Northstar as they celebrate the season! The Northstar Pond Skim is on, the music will be on the hill and in the Village and there will be plenty more on and off the slopes. This year Epic Promise will be sponsoring their annual event and all proceeds from registration will be donated to Northstar’s Foundation for employees and local organizations in need. Come join the fun, vibe to the music and experience Spring at Northstar!

Local’s Top Pick Spring Event: US Jib League, April 7 at Sugar Bowl

Fresh snow brings yet another competition to Sugar Bowl this weekend! Stoked to be the first-ever stop in the US for Jib League and billed as a celebration of public parks, Jib League was created to offer a more welcoming experience for both the pros and the public. In contrast to typical competitions, the Jib League operates without judges. Jib League is open to all ages, genders and abilities. Spectators are also encouraged to bring good vibes. It’s a fun day followed by libations on the deck! Come watch the fun and if you are game, give this competition a shot!

This is a super fun event for a super good reason. Head on over to Boreal to either compete or take in the talent in the Intergalactic Mini Rail Jam. It’s open to anyone who enjoys playing the pipe! All proceeds will benefit the Revert Foundation whose mission is encouraging and inspiring youth development by sharing authentic mountain and outdoor experiences.

Ditch the ski jacket for a collared shirt and khakis: Alpine’s Annual Snow Golf Tournament is back for its 38th year! As the only top-to-bottom snow golf course, this highly anticipated spring event is a unique way to spend a day on the slopes with friends and family. The ten-hole course starts at the top of Summit Express chair and meanders its way down the mountain with the last holes bringing competitors to The Chalet for a Caddyshack-themed afterparty.
