Throughout the year, Arts for the Schools presents some of the world’s finest dance, music, and cultural events in the West through their non-profit organization. On December 7th, at Truckee High School, your family can be treated to an evening that depicts the arts and culture that comes with living in the Truckee/Tahoe region.

SANTA’S ANNUAL FLY-IN TO TRUCKEE!

With the Truckee Tahoe Airport a short drive from some of the west’s finest destination ski and golf resorts in Truckee, it just makes good sense that Santa would choose to fly-in on a special airplane with his sack full of toys for good girls and boys!
It’s an annual event that welcomes locals and visitors alike. Be sure to be there by 10:00 a.m. as that’s when Santa arrives with cocoa and holiday treats and gifts!
DECK THE HALLS AND SAVE $$ TOO!
Before you deck your halls inside and out, head to the Truckee Donner Public Utility District to pick up some coupons ($5 for shorter LED strands; $10 off longer strands) , then dash over to Mountain Hardware in Truckee to save up to $50 on LED lights.

Fridays in December – Noel Nights
Walk into this winter wonderland every Friday as the Village transforms into a winter paradise featuring horse-drawn sleigh rides, outdoor ice skating, pictures with Santa and s’mores and hot cocoa by the fire pits.
