Spring has indeed arrived and Easter Sunday, always a fun time, is coming soon! As winter winds down, it’s a wonderful time here in Truckee-Tahoe with crisp mornings, warm sunshine and snow melting to show green everywhere! Come on up, enjoy the sunshine, get some exercise and experience our mountain community during the “bridge” season!

Tahoe-Truckee Humane Society Black Tie and Tails Event
The 12th Annual Black Tie & Tails Fundraising Gala presented by Truckee Tahoe Lumber Company is next month. Dogs are the guests of honor! There will be over 350 attendees, some with their canine companions, greeted by a Hollywood-style red carpet entry, immediately followed by the swankiest of champagne and hors d’oeuvre receptions – complete with passed appetizers for your dogs! Enjoy an elegant dining experience, music, dancing and unexpected entertainment. It’s a FUN night and great, local benefit for a wonderful cause!

Old Brockway Golf Course OPENS April 7!
Old Brockway Golf Course will be open and in full operation starting Thursday, April 7 with reservations starting on Tuesday, April 5. Book your tee time here.
Join Tahoe Adventure Company for the final Full Moon Snowshoe Tour of the season, Full Pink Moon, on April 15 or 16 from 6:30–9:30pm. Take in the brisk mountain air as you snowshoe under the moon and learn about the High Sierra. You will trek on easy to use snowshoes by moonlight. Knowledgeable guides will discuss local natural history, astronomy topics, as well as fascinating facts about our moon. You will also stop along the way to take in the beautiful views and enjoy snacks and hot drinks.
Cost is $85 per person and no experience is necessary.
