Delicious Happenings in Truckee and Lake Tahoe In June
According to Dictionary.com a “foodie’ is “a person keenly interested in food, especially in eating or cooking”. Thanks to all our local restaurants and non-profit organizations, Truckee Tahoe has become quite the Mecca for those who love great food and fun entertainment.
Right now, there are a plethora of events popping up all over our local calendars that just beg for a fun day or a night on the town with friends and family in tow.
To get you up to speed and into the local scene, we’ve hand-picked some of our favorite places to eat and enjoy local entertainment during the month of June in and around the High Sierra.
If you ever need a new idea as to where to go to find some of the freshest local faire, please never hesitate to stop into our real estate office in Truckee or give us a call at any time.

One of the most important fundraisers of the year is “The Maker Show” occurring on June 9th at the Truckee Roundhouse at the Truckee Tahoe Airport. Cottonwood Restaurant Locals Early Bird Dinning
With so much to do and see in the evenings around the Lake Tahoe and Truckee region, we like to eat early and then head to a show. And here’s a great option to do so. Head on over to Cottonwood Restaurant and Bar to take advantage of their Early Bird Dining options; offered now through June 13th, Monday through Thursday from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Chef Donovan always prepares a three-course offering with soup or salad, an entrée, and dessert. All of which are usually new and always delicious with most of the menu items showcasing food provided by local ranchers, farmers, and fisherman suppliers.
It’s very popular, so be sure to call ahead for reservations.
