12:00 – 5:00 pm
Gatekeepers Museum, Tahoe City
Come one, come all to the annual Oktoberfest in Tahoe City. This family-friendly festival offers a big selection of fun things to do, eat and enjoy all day long. In addition to the brews and Bavarian-themed food, there’s music throughout the day from Coburn Station and sounds of the authentic accordion musician, Christine Georgi.
But wait, there’s more! While enjoying your favorite local brew, participate in fun games like the Stein squat, Yodel Contest, and Weiner toss. Make special Oktoberfest pretzel necklaces, explore the Vendor Village featuring North Tahoe’s most talented artisan makers and show off your imaginative side by dressing up in your finest German-themed costume! Prizes for ALL!

Here’s another annual fall event that is just a part of the amazing list of things to do in Truckee-Tahoe. This is a fundraiser for the Sierra State Parks Foundation and is a fabulous way to get on the lake before the snow flies!
As their website tells it best: “Enjoy spellbinding stories (true or false, you decide) as you sip fine wine and taste your way through your own gourmet charcuterie box.”
There’s a live auction on board as well – ideal for early feel-good holiday shopping while supporting the Sierra State Parks.
Seating is limited and the cruise sells out, so get your tickets now!
