Get Your Adrenalin On!
Here’s End of Summer Fun!
Summer is still in full swing and wherever you go, we encourage you to take time to enjoy the most beautiful months, few crowds and a slower lifestyle – September and October are the Elder family’s favorites (besides winter powder days of course!).
With summer changing soon to fall weather in our favor for fun in the great outdoors, we have selected a few more of our favorite, adrenalin related adventures to do with family and friends throughout Truckee-Tahoe. From zipping high above the forest to testing your talents on a rope adventure course or climbing up and down our classic granite rocks, the “rush” and views are fantastic and will create a day to reflect on and savor!
And, here’s some news! The results are in! Alison Elder was ranked in the Top One Percent of America’s most productive Realtors as evaluated and confirmed by the prestigious RealTrends national ranking assessment. The individual agents at this level account for over 10% of closed transactions throughout the USA. As noted by Steve Murray, special advisor to MW Media LLC (the leading digital real estate and financial news), “To say Alison is an exceptional sales professional is an understatement. To attain this level of sales is extraordinary.” (read more)

Zip, Zip, Hooray!
Fortunately for those who live and visit Truckee and North Lake Tahoe, there are several spots to zip away your day at one or more of Tahoe Treetop Adventure Parks. At Granlibakken Resort, there are 97 tree platforms strategically build in and around the region’s old growth cedars. And within this Park, there also 60 bridges and other classic adventure park obstacles to keep you on or off your toes!
Built into the hillside facing Shirley Canyon, the Park at Tahoe Palisades is open to individuals, families and particularly groups who seek to test their confidence at a variety of levels. It includes an assortment of vertical ‘climbing elements’ with a total of six zip lines and 10 bridges for the novice to the most advanced. At this location, there is also a 50’ Alpine Tower with a variety of vertical climbing elements.
Their Tahoe Vista location is a little more welcoming for the shy. Within the 125-acre North Tahoe Regional Park, they use a continuous ‘belay’ safety system. We have found this to be the best choice for the little ones and those who are a bit skeptical of flying through the air with the greatest of ease!
