From the edge of Donner Lake, to the sands of Tahoe City, to the beach bash in Kings Beach, there are more than enough options to keep you celebrating throughout this festive time of the year. July 3rd It’s a beach party in every sense of the word so come prepared for a full day and night of fun in the sun and your toes in the sand in Kings Beach. The official events start at 7:00 p.m. yet the beach is open all day for all ages. Parking is available on a first-come come basis at the State Beach so plan ahead. When the Beach Party starts at 7:00 p.m. there will be food and beverage vendors, a wine and beer garden, and live performances by the San Diego Marines Double-Time Brass Band. The event is capped off by a fireworks display over the Lake at 9:30 pm.
July 4th This good-old-fashioned community 4th of July Parade is a must-not-miss! It’s a tradition that is another reminder why so many families are choosing to move to the mountains and enjoy the lifestyle that comes with living in a quaint community-focused town. Bring your chairs, bring your picnic, and plan on a festive few hours in Downtown Truckee that you will forever treasure and want to return to year after year.
July 4th It’s a full day and night of family fun on the shores of Donner Lake! Bring the whole gang to enjoy carnival games, live music, affordable food and of course, a spectacular fireworks show. Tickets cost $6 which must be purchased in advance at the Truckee Community Recreation Center at 8942 Donner Pass Road. You will need to bring proof of residency or home ownership so plan ahead, and plan on having a festive time in one of the most spectacular settings on earth!
July 4th Touting the “largest fireworks display in Tahoe history”’ Tahoe City is pulling out all stops to make sure you have one of the best Independence Day celebrations on record. The event includes plenty of opportunities to enjoy the beach all day that comes alive with entertainment the evening festivities. During the day, make time to stroll through this charming lakeside community. From the art galleries, to street-side boutiques, sport shops and lake view dining, we are sure there is something for everyone to enjoy in Tahoe City. |
