From Tri Tip from their homemade Pit, to Brisket, Pulled Pork and BBQ ribs, the River Street Inn offers savoring daily smoked meats on their famous Texas smoker. Our best tips at this local’s favorite is to reserve a table on the porch overlooking the Truckee River and order the Sample Plate for a perfect afternoon or evening affair.
With a full menu for lunch, dinner and delicious desserts, Bar of America continues to be a favorite for locals and visitors alike. And as we are showcasing the best of BBQ in the area, their BBQ Chicken make this week’s list. We will suggest at least one serving of their BBQ Chicken prepared with an oh-so-scrumptious Apricot Bourbon BBQ sauce served with wild mushrooms, grilled corn, roasted parsnips, mashed potatoes and to top that all off, pickled onions and beats.
