TRUCKEE
Old Greenwood & Gray’s Crossing
Enjoy the best of golf at two of Truckee-Tahoe’s most prestigious golf resorts. Tucked in around some of the region’s most breathtaking scenery, Old Greenwood and Gray’s Crossing offer challenging terrain for every golf enthusiast.
Navigate rolling hills, numerous bunkers and large greens at Old Greenwood’s Jack Nicklaus Signature course, then test your talent AT Gray’s Crossing throughout its 7,466-yard, par 72 course faultlessly designed by Peter Jacobson.
The highest-elevation golf course in Tahoe, this course is located within the prestigious Tahoe Donner neighborhood and is set among towering pines, meandering creeks and stunning granite formations. Be sure to visit their website each spring to secure early season perks with the lowest price of the season usually available until Memorial Weekend.
Coyote Moon’s website says it best: “The course seems worlds away from civilization and each hole seems a world unto itself.” Prepare yourself to be distracted as you tee it up throughout its 250 acres of towering pines, granite outcroppings, and fields of wildflowers through the early summer months.

Surrounded by six majestic Sierra peaks, the Links at Everline is a championship Robert Trent Jones Jr. golf course that rests serenely at the base of Palisades Tahoe. Iconic to Jones’ classic mountain course architecture are his efforts to capture the unique mountain setting while protecting its natural wildlife habitat and wetlands.

The Golf Channel rated Historic Old Brockway in Kings Beach, California, as one of the top 9-hole courses in the country, and for those who have enjoyed a day on the links, they’ll agree. Every hole has a view of the lake and the pines that line the meticulously groomed fairways are some of the oldest and most photographed at Lake Tahoe.

Perfect for a morning or afternoon on the links, this nine-hole public course is Truckee’s best value and offers a variety of challenges for duffers of all levels. It’s a par 35 course which offers three sets of tee boxes to make the novice to the most advance ready to play within their ability level. The course also has practice greens, a chipping area, snack bar, pro shop and plenty of expansive views to complement this community golf course.

Families love this course, and you will too. In fact, locals call it the ‘best little community golf course in the West.” And with good reason. The setting is spectacular and its 9-hole, par 33 course will not intimate the novice and has fairways and holes to challenge the most advanced.
