Annual Pancake Breakfast
Start this year’s celebration at the Annual 4th of July Pancake Breakfast. This hearty feast is free for all. Donations are always appreciated, and the proceeds will go to the Fire Station’s Scholarship and other community programs.

Firecracker Fun Run
Come one, come all to run, stroll, or jog with your dog in this quick and casual fun run. This one-mile “gravity-fed” event is for all ages and abilities. The race starts at US Bank on Donner Pass Road and finishes downtown in front of the Judge’s Stage.

Truckee 4th of July Parade
It’s the “Throwback Thursday” theme this year, so get out your favorite ‘blast from the past’ American threads and head to the parade. The route starts at the west end of Donner Pass Road (Truckee High School) and winds its way to downtown Truckee – passing right by our Elder Group/Chase International real estate office in Truckee! Set up your chairs early to experience a parade with classic, colorful floats to somewhat crazy entertainment along the way.

Tahoe Donner Festival
Thanks to the relentless energy of the Tahoe Donner Recreation and Parks District staff, residents of Tahoe Donner can enjoy some of the holiday’s most traditional events – all day long and into the night.
It’s all about the kids and families competing in classic contests that include Tug-of-War, Egg Toss, Hula Hoop and Sack Races. Throughout the events, there’s a full lineup of music from local and regional bands, topped off at 8:00 p.m. with tunes from the Blues Monsters and fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

Summer Concert on the Green is a family-friendly, all-ages event taking place under the stars at the Tahoe Donner Driving Range. Bring a picnic or support the local food vendors on site and don’t forget your low-back chair and blankets.

Get ready for another night with sensational sounds. First up, Decoy, a local powerhouse band ready to rock your world with an electrifying mix of high-energy rock, pop, and country hits. And then it’s a flashback as Jumping Jack Flash brings your favorite Rolling Stone tunes to the stage with their larger-than-life performance.

Tahoe City 4th of July Festival
Crystal clear blue skies, an expansive sandy beach, and the cool waters of Lake Tahoe set the scene for the annual Tahoe City 4th of July festivities on Common Beach all day long and into the night. There is music and dancing throughout the day and a schedule that includes Face Painting, Bubble Shows, Hula Hoops, and plenty of locally sourced food and beverages, too. Hang out or rest up and return to the beach after sunset to see the largest Drone Show at Lake Tahoe.
