Within the Truckee-Tahoe region, there is an extraordinary lifestyle we treasure throughout the summer months, exploring the mountains by day and experiencing some of the finest music by night.

While we wait for the record-breaking snowpack to melt into our rivers and streams and to replenish our aquifers, we look forward to the opportunity to get out and about in the fresh air! In the morning, we’ll hop on mountain bikes, paddle the lakes and streams, and hike into the hills. As the sun starts to set, it’s time to pack our picnic baskets and lounge chairs, then head out to the region’s legendary concerts and festivals for a relaxing, fun, music-filled evening!

Tail Wagger 5K June 3, 2023 North Tahoe Regional ParkRossi and Aspen are going to LOVE this one, and your dogs will, too! It’s a first-time event that brings the best of everything “tail waggin’ to the North Tahoe Regional Park in Tahoe Vista. Make plans now to bring your pups along for the inaugural Tail Wagger 5K and one-mile trail run/walk through the beautiful park. June 4, 2023 Tahoe City Solstice Festival June 8 – 18, 2023 Tahoe City (select venues) It’s a celebration of all things Tahoe City and you’re invited! Enjoy one or more days along the shore of North Tahoe during this 10-day event. June 10, 2023 Tahoe City Food and Wine Classic 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm Downtown Tahoe City Experience Tahoe City in one of the most eclectic ways by taking a stroll downtown along the lakeside sidewalks sipping wine, tasting delicious morsels, discovering charming shops and enjoying beautiful Lake Tahoe. There are a limited number of tickets, so get them while they last!
June 20 – August 29, 2023 Bluesdays Tuesdays Olympic Village Event Plaza For the best of the blues all summer long, put this weekly free concert series on your list! They do an excellent job of bringing in some of the best Blues bands from across the West to entertain locals and visitors alike.
June 22 – August 10, 2023 Truckee Thursdays Downtown Truckee This must be the best block party of any small-town community in the USA. First, it’s packed – for all the right reasons. Second – be sure to check out their free shuttle as parking is a challenge. Finally, it’s worth the time to get there to enjoy live music, local artistry, activity booths for kids of all ages, and food trucks galore!
