Every year we look forward to this particular post to provide you with a list of all our favorite concerts of the summer.  From the West Shore’s Lake Tahoe Music Festival to the East Shore’s popular Showcase Series at Sand Harbor and everywhere in between – there’s music in the mountains throughout Lake Tahoe and Truckee for all to enjoy.

His music and wit appeal to the full range of music lovers, from the novice jazz fan to the most jaded jazz hipster. Elling does not regularly perform with big bands so this will be a real treat for all to experience a super-star performance with this virtuoso vocalist and compelling storyteller featured with the RJO.

The mission of the Lake Tahoe Music Festival is to “present diverse and quality classic musical experiences in unique outdoor settings and to create educational and performance opportunities for aspiring young musicians” and has been integral to the arts and culture of the community for 36 seasons.  Its 26-piece Academy Orchestra presents a five-day concert series at intimate outdoor settings on the west shore of Lake Tahoe, Tahoe City, and Truckee.  For tickets and more information, visit TahoeMusic.org.

Trails and Vistas Present …
“The World Concert: A Peace Project of Truckee Tahoe”
