Deck Parties, Music, BBQ’s and Magnificent Wildflowers Await You and Yours This Memorial Weekend
Ahhh, summer is almost here which means the world will stop on Memorial Weekend on Tahoe’s West shore, and throughout the High Sierra to celebrate the start of summer … and salute our Veterans as well.
If you have never experienced the fanfare, come up for the fun, fresh air, and all the festivities May 25 – 27, 2018.
To get you in the mood, we’ve selected our favorite events of the holiday weekend.
In between all the fun, please take the time to reflect on the purpose of the holiday as we share our appreciation for those who gave their lives and continue to give their all today.

We love to bring a picnic and take in all of its beauty under the pines and overlooking the lake.
Vikingsholm in Emerald Bay ~ Emerald Bay provided the setting for one of the first summer homes at Lake Tahoe and one of the most visited tourist attractions in the High Sierra. Known as “Tahoe’s Hidden Castle,” the property and its grounds make for a full day with educational tours and a beach on which to place your toes and soak up the Sierra sun!
