Atelier in Truckee offers a collection of hand-sourced 2-D prints, paintings and designer art wares and an exclusive collection of artist supplies and materials throughout the year. And this December 19, they are offering you the guidance and tools to repair that favorite sweater, hat or sox that you may have given a family or friend many years ago.
Well-known as the ‘creative hub of the local art community,” Atelier is hosting a workshop to teach you all about the basic stitches and darning techniques so you can mend those wool socks, sweaters, favorite jeans, jackets, t-shirts and other garments. Patch material, thread, yarn, and needles will be provided.
